Peak Services has identified ILT as Product Specific skills based training. ILT is provided in two ways:
• Milwaukee Based Training
• Field Based Training
Milwaukee Based Training provides students the opportunity to work hands on with some of the Shovel and Drill system components. Students are introduced to skills based subjects in a classroom environment then taken into our on-site Lab where they practice skills to successfully troubleshoot and maintain specific P&H products.
The Peak Service on-site Lab is loaded with the latest in Shovel and Drill technology. The animation to the right shows what's available. Using your mouse, roll over the left and right arrows to pan left and right. Roll your mouse over the blue highlighted circles to see a description of the equipment.
Field Based Training is held at the customer's facility. By conducting training on-site, Peak Services Instructors are able to tailor the training to appropriate systems.
Field Based Training requires that an Instructor be present for the training activity. For this reason, it becomes very resource intensive. This is why Peak Services has partnered with the Regional Product Specialists, or RPS, and other MinePro Regions to establish Regional Trainers to assist in conducting classes in the field. RPS and Regional Trainers are backed by the world class training programs developed by the Peak Services Team.
If you would like to find out how to become a Regional Trainer or would like to add one to your area, please contact Barb Zydowicz for more information.
