Alliance Manager-The Alliance Manager’s primary responsibilities will focus on Major Alliance partners (LeTourneau, Hitachi, Terex-Unit Rig, Terex-Reedrill, CQMS) to improve profitability through better Product Mix, expanded Service offerings and optimized Inventory levels. In addition, this individual will: negotiate distribution agreements and other global Alliance agreements on behalf of MinePro as needed. Monitor prospective and lost Sales of all Major Alliance Products and engage Alliance partners and customers to fully understand each market by region, and conduct detailed financial analysis on all Alliance Business relationships by region and determine impact to P & H Return on Average Working Capital.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years experience in an equipment distribution company with a complex array of territories, facilities, suppliers and customers or similar Mine Pro experience. Negotiating skills, experience in the operational functioning of shop, service, parts and sales departments, as well as knowledge of SAP are all key qualities. This position requires approximately 40% travel (both domestic and international).

Benefits Administrative Assistant-This position will be responsible for a variety of administrative functions to include: Providing administrative support for the entire Benefits department, managing external and internal customer questions gathering and setting up files for pension calculations, maintaining the pension request log, handling Fidelity inbound changes, Ceridian inbound error report, routine phone calls, ordering supplies for the department, pension verifications, processing invoices, deposits, check and wire requests, handling file transfers, filing, handling mail, retiree address changes, medical child support orders, coordinating the walking program and arranging travel, conference calls and meetings.

This position requires strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks based on demand is essential. Contract and Document Administrator-This position is responsible as administrator and owner to maintain a computerized document management system in Lotus Notes for sales proposals, contracts, trade compliance and related correspondence from a variety of sources. Organize and manage electronic documents, as well as oversight/review of filing done by others. Assess and correct incomplete, duplicate, or incorrect filing, ensure complete and accurate files are maintained. Support for the commercial, marketing, and product management teams as required in administration, organization, filing, and retention of all pending proposals and contracts including tracking all P&H Milwaukee internal responses, any approvals required by P&H policies and processes, correspondence with field sales management teams and customers, organize and maintain contract revisions and in process documents from multiple sources. Duties include training of users of the document management system, maintaining and updating procedures, working with IT technical staff to implement and test system improvements. Other responsibilities include providing assistance in development of presentations and materials for commercial/sales process/contract/compliance training, serving as a back up for contract and/or proposals reviews to assess business and commercial risks, redraft of terms and conditions to comply with company policies and to properly mitigate risks, with assistance and over sight of other department members. This position may require occasional participation in negotiations or meetings with customers.

Due to global nature of responsibilities this position may require occasional early morning or late evening work to accommodate time differences and offers flexible work hours, including flexibility for some work at home. Up to 5% sporadic travel may be required. Qualified candidates will have excellent analytical, written and oral communication, organizational, and prioritization skills, with high level attention to detail, be self motivated with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks and deadlines. Computer skills sufficient to manage electronic document management system required and intermediate Excel and Access competence to create, maintain, and update spreadsheets and database files for export compliance, proposals, and contracts. Familiarity with internet research or prior experience in computer document retention and management or computerized file management experience a plus.

Development Engineer - This position designs and develops software for semi-autonomous control systems applied on mining equipment. They will conduct both electrical and mechanical simulations to support developments and field issue resolution. This person will also work closely with third parties, supporting technical as well as project management requirements.

A MS in Electrical, Software or Mechanical Engineering is preferred, but a BS and equivalent experience would be considered. Must have a strong background in controls, especially robotics applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing software in a RTMT environment. Have familiarity with Matlab, and Simulink with respect to modeling control systems. Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment as well as individually.

Document Control Administrator-This position is the central repository for all controlled procedural documentation and the controlled forms related to these procedures. All corporate documents are controlled and issued from the position. This job is crucial to P&H because this function is one of the six major clauses audited for ISO certification. Duties will include reviewing and revising each document submitted and following it through to publication, maintaining controlled indexes of each manual as well as the required history files for all documents. Other duties include tracking the approval cycle including follow-up correspondence, additional revisions, and re-submittal and updating corporate manuals and the tasks associated with that. Because this position is the clearinghouse for all documentation there will be frequent communication and interaction with cross-functional teams at many management levels.

Qualified candidates will have excellent analytical, written and oral communication, organizational, and prioritization skills, with high level attention to detail, be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks and deadlines. Computer skills sufficient to manage electronic document management system required, excellent Word skills and intermediate Excel and Access competence to create, maintain, and update spreadsheets and database files. Prior experience in electronic document retention and management of computerized file management experience is required. FileMaker Pro, Microsoft Project and FrontPage experience is a plus. Quality (ISO) experience is a plus. Bachelors’ degree is a plus.

Group Leader – Electrical Assembly (OEM, 1st Shift)-This position will be primarily responsible for Electrical Shovel and Drill Assembly within the OEM Factory on 1st shift. The position requires the ability to both lead and develop our workforce within a union environment. Other responsibilities include departmental safety, quality, adherence to established processes, development of new processes, prioritizing work assignments to achieve on-time delivery of product and managing the workforce in order to achieve maximum productivity and optimum throughput within the factory. The position is responsible for building teamwork and maintaining communication across all shifts and various departments.

This position requires manufacturing experience with electrical assemblies, schematics and electrical drawings. Prior experience training/instructing in this area is required. Prior management experience working within a union environment and understanding the administration of a Union contract is a must. The ability to read and understand complex drawings is needed for this position. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team across all shifts is required.

Group Leader – Mechanical Assembly (OEM, 1st Shift)-This position will be primarily responsible for Mechanical Assembly department within the OEM Factory on 1st shift. The position requires the ability to both lead and develop our workforce within a union environment. Other responsibilities include departmental safety, quality, adherence to established processes, development of new processes, prioritizing work assignments to achieve on-time delivery of product and managing the workforce in order to achieve maximum productivity and optimum throughput within the factory. The position is responsible for building teamwork and maintaining communication across all shifts and various departments.

This position requires manufacturing experience with large mechanical assemblies, Blueprint interpretation is a must, the ability to read schematics and electrical drawings is a plus. Prior experience in training/instructing in this area is required. Prior management experience working within a union environment and understanding the administration of a Union contract is a must. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team across all shifts is required.

Group Leader – Large Welding (OEM, 3rd Shift)-This position will be primarily responsible for Large Welding Operations within the OEM Factory on 3rd shift. The position requires the ability to both lead and develop our workforce within a union environment. Other responsibilities include departmental safety, quality, adherence to established processes, development of new processes, on-time delivery of product and managing the workforce in order to achieve maximum productivity and optimum throughput within the factory. The position is responsible for building teamwork and maintaining communication across all shifts.

This position requires manufacturing experience with heavy/large welding and weld operations. Certification or the ability to obtain welding inspector certification per AWS-QC-1 standard is required. Prior management experience working within a union environment and understanding the administration of a Union contract is a must. The ability to read and understand complex drawings is needed for this position. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team across all shifts is required.

Group Leader –Loading/Painting (OEM, 2nd Shift)-This position will be primarily responsible is follow through and supervise 2nd shift employees in Loading, Large Machining, assembly and Product Finish. The position requires the ability to both lead and develop our workforce within a union environment. Other responsibilities include departmental safety, quality, adherence to established processes, development of new processes, prioritizing work assignments to achieve on-time delivery of product and managing the workforce in order to achieve maximum productivity and optimum throughput within the factory. The position is responsible for building teamwork and maintaining communication across all shifts and various departments.

This position requires manufacturing experience. Prior experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education is required. Prior management experience working within a union environment and understanding the administration of a Union contract is necessary. The ability to read and understand such documents as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work, as a team across all shifts is required.p>

Group Leader (2nd Shift) – Maintenance -This position is primarily responsible for supervising the hourly employees within the Maintenance Department. The position requires the ability to both lead and develop our highly experienced workforce within a union environment. Other responsibilities include departmental safety, quality, and adherence to established processes as well as development of new processes and managing the workforce in order to achieve maximum productivity. The ability to build teamwork and maintain excellent communication across all shifts is required for this position. This individual will interact with a variety of vendors regarding spare parts, subcontract jobs, delivery and completion dates. The position will also be responsible for generating CEAs and PM Programs.

This position requires a strong manufacturing background in Maintenance with 2-3 years of supervisory experience. Prior supervisory experience working within a union environment and understanding the administration of a Union contract is a must. Knowledge of electrical trade and functions is a plus. SAP experience preferred. The successful candidate will posses excellent oral and written communication skills.

Group Leader - Software Systems Development - The Group Leader - Software Systems Development is responsible for the implementation of a technology plan.  This will be accomplished by supervising an engineering team focused on the development of technology. This individual will be involved in supporting new technology products in the marketplace; including the support of new machines and upgrade sales.  You will work closely with MinePro to ensure customer satisfaction, bring closure to on-going technology issues, and to optimize opportunities for future developments and product sales.  The Group Leader will also be responsible for developing a solid technology plan that allows P&H to maintain and perhaps grow market share within the mining industry while still making this technology supportable and profitable.

A minimum of five years of direct OEM Mining Machinery related experience, with 3+ years management experience is required.  A Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Engineering is preferred. Business Degree or equivalent training is also viewed as a plus. Dynamic modeling and computer simulation experience, or a Mechatronic background is required. Demonstrated software management experience with CMM/CMMI practices would be helpful. This individual must be experienced in all phases of program management including requirements definition, software development, low-level operating system knowledge, familiarity with development on prototype hardware, experience with processor architecture and computer systems, software test, complex system debug, and post-deployment support will be required.

Human Resources Assistant-Providing administrative HR support for the entire HR department, handling a wide range of policy, procedure, benefits and basic employee relations questions, processing New Hire paperwork, conducting New Hire Orientation, creating personnel files, generating monthly headcount and turnover reports, managing external and internal customer questions as well as handling general front office and administrative duties.

This position requires strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills as well as general knowledge of HR policies and procedures gained through education or related work experience. The ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks based on demand is essential. In addition to providing excellent customer service, we are looking for an individual who is self-motivated and fully proficient in the following software applications: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Industrial Engineer - Work with engineering and manufacturing to establish routings for new products and processes. Research and develop operational routings for the factory that follow the QRM philosophy to produce parts. Establish accurate operations and rates to be used for capacity planning through the understanding of capabilities of the machine shop and process. Provide floor coverage to verify work content and procedure, problem solve, and resolve discrepancies in process. Be involved in process improvement teams and work closely with group leaders to improve manufacturing methods and establish alternative work centers to improve throughput.

This person must hold a minimum of a two-year degree in Industrial Engineering. Machine shop apprenticeship is a plus. Must have knowledge of Excel, MS Work and SAP. Knowledge of manufacturing capabilities and heat-treat processes. This person must have good communication and organizational skills.

Inventory Control Specialist-This position will be responsible for optimizing P&H inventory investment at various subcontractor processors and suppliers in the United States, and could include Canada. This position requires the creation and maintenance of an efficient inventory control program for P&H supplied materials, primarily steel plate. The incumbent will insure the effective use of these materials, including identification of excess and obsolete inventory and their disposition. Metrics will be established and a plan developed to meet the objectives. This position requires the establishment and implementation of an audit schedule, and research and reconciliation of any discrepancies. The candidate will work closely with Buyers, Resource Planners, and subcontractors to facilitate accurate materials movement and accountability. The ideal candidate will have three to five year’s experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment and the ability to work with technical data. Must possess a working knowledge of steel plate processes and material specification. This position will require some domestic travel. Strong analytical skills, along with excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are required. A demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is necessary. A working knowledge of SAP desired, but no required. APICS Certification is a plus, but not required.

Labor Relations Supervisor -The Labor Relations Supervisor (LRS) provides HR services to the unionized hourly and salaried employees in the operations and operations support functions to our manufacturing facilities. The LRS is the first point of contact for all labor relations issues and will administer the current collective bargaining agreement, handle progressive discipline issues, manage the job bid and grievance processes, and provide guidance to management on all contractual issues. Additional responsibilities include recruiting, compensation/benefits/absence administration, training facilitation, organizational/succession planning activities, lead community/college relations initiatives, personal development and related projects. The incumbent must form strong partnerships across internal and external client groups and within the HR function for optimal effectiveness. The LRS also provides direction to the HR administrative staff in the performance of related support activities as needed.

Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of a bachelors’ degree in HR, business or related field with at least 5 years of HR generalist experience in a unionized environment (manufacturing preferred). Previous “hands on” labor relations experience required and contract negotiations experience desired. Qualified candidate will also possess a strong presence and success as an approachable and influential advisor at all levels of the organization and an ability to maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality. Excellent communication (oral and written) and computer skills and a proven self-starter, capable of carrying projects through to completion are necessary for this role.

Learning and Development Manager-The Leadership Development Manager will act as a bridge between Joy Global Leadership Development Team, Human Resources and P&H Leaders within the U.S. and Canada. This person will be responsible for communicating and integrating Learning and Development Strategy through annual planning and assessment as well as driving existing and future leadership development efforts. Other critical responsibilities include supporting HR Director and MD/VPs in development, follow-through and renewing of HiPo development plans as well as developing apprenticeships and internship programs for engineering and field service departments. Some travel will be required.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience driving learning and development efforts. Experience driving development initiatives and building relationships that gain buy-in and enhance departmental credibility is also required as is presentation skills and experience. Also required is experience setting strategy and aligning projects, tasks and goals with departmental and organizational strategy.

Machinists - Multiple positions available.  Successful candidates will have 3 to 5 years of machining experience on one or more of the following: Internal and external grinder, engine lathe, CNC turning center, NC Boring Bar or manual Boring Bar. Applicants must be able to read drawings and perform their own set-ups in a low volume, high quality environment. Journeyman status preferred, but not required; personal tools necessary.

Manufacturing Engineer - Work within the concurrent engineering framework to develop an efficient sequence of manufacturing tasks to produce the part. To accomplish this, the individual will work with Tool Design and Product Engineering to develop the tools and processes required to complete the job. This position will also establish manufacturing methods such as feeds and speeds and create the machine tool program. This will include producing setup instructions and process sheets as required. Additional responsibilities include preparing and managing various capital projects taking place in the Rotating/Dragline Factory. Participation in or leading of continuous improvement teams will also be required.

This position requires an associate's degree or equivalent. Good interpersonal skills and proficient computer skills are also required. CATIA skills and gear manufacturing experience are a plus.

Payroll Specialist-This position will be responsible for processing weekly or bi-weekly salaried and hourly payroll. This person will also need to understand the union contract and HR policies as it relates to payroll and be able to apply the knowledge to the day-to-day payroll work. Other responsibilities include Ad-Hoc reporting, dealing with outside vendors and ADP representatives, answering internal customer questions regarding payroll and helping employees at all levels within the organization with different payroll forms. Compliance with Sarbanes Oxley as it relates to payroll is crucial.

This position requires strong communication skills to effectively communicate with a wide range of people within and outside of the organization. Also required is at least two years of experience processing payroll, strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively. Strong computer skills are also required, including Excel and Word. A high degree of confidentiality and accuracy are required. ADP Enterprise and Reportsmith experience is preferred.

Planner/Scheduler I-Review MRP signals for Orchard Street purchased commodities. Convert planned orders into purchase requisitions. As a team participant, work with purchasing and vendors on stocking programs. Maintain inventory accuracy by administering a cycle count program. Maintain material master data. Maintain bill of material data. Participate in the Engineering Release Notification (ERN) process for electrical products manufactured at Orchard Street. Other related Material Management and Production Control tasks.

A Bachelor's degree in Materials Management, Production Control, or Operations Management. Equivalent work experience would be considered. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong knowledge of MRP, planned orders, material master data, bills of material, and inventory control techniques. Strong interpersonal skills, both oral and written, are required in order to interact effectively with internal customers. APICS certification is a plus.

Pricing Analyst - Establish pricing to be commensurate with corporate gross margin goals. Maintain margin objectives by auditing financial reports. Coordinate the set-up and changes of contracts for Alliance customers and semi-annual price adjustments. Run TSO reports as needed for selling price/cost review. Review validity and inventory of parts being requested. Check validity of standard costs and determine pricing. Price orders ready to ship and review price vs. cost issues on orders ready to bill. Update computer distribution system with results of cost/price review.

Associates Degree. Accuracy with numbers. Computer system experience. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Associates Degree in Marketing Accounting. Mining equipment and parts product knowledge. SAP experience.

Principal Engineer - This position is responsible for the mechanical and electrical design of P&H manufactured electrical rotating equipment. Conducts failure analysis with documentation and report generation while providing support throughout the manufacturing process, testing and service of the product. Evaluates and recommends insulation and structural materials and manufacturing processes for product improvement.

This position requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of ten years experience in electrical and mechanical design of rotating electromagnetic machinery. Knowledge of AC and DC motor manufacturing and design experience in both AC and DC in hp ranges from 50 to 2000 hp. Knowledge of electrical design and insulation systems used in motors and generators. Essential skills include leadership, planning, organizing, oral and written communication, data analysis, problem solving, project management and proficiency in the use of personal computer applications. Experience with CATIA or CAD software preferred but not required.

Principal Engineer - Reporting through the Product Technology group, this individual's primary responsibilities will include: analyzing technology trends, researching market conditions, and gathering market driven requirements for new product development. Based on market requirements, this individual will develop functional specifications for new product development and work closely with engineering to finalize those specifications. These functional specifications will then be used by Product Development Engineering to create state of the art technology products that will be applied to P&H electric mining shovels, blasthole drills, and draglines. In addition to the aforementioned responsibilities, this individual will work closely with the Marketing Communications team to develop marketing and sales material for internal and external customers for technology products. The Principal Engineer will review requests for quotations from internal customers to determine costing and feasibility, as well as provide sales support and perform sales presentations for internal and external customers.

This position requires marketing and/or sales experience in mining, communications, and/or electrical products. A background in Electrical or Mining Engineering is preferred, however candidates with applicable experience will be considered. Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills are a must.

Process Improvement Engineer -The primary responsibilities for this role will be to conduct process and product audits, complete a nonconforming material analysis and develop corrective actions, and ensure effective process controls exist to minimize and contain nonconforming materials. Identifying systemic trends and implementing effective counter measures, facilitating work teams with Operations and Engineering personnel, and having a practical understanding of gauging and gauge capability analysis are essential for this role. Additional responsibilities include read/interpreting blue prints, developing and implementing procedures to statistically define machine and process capability as well as developing and conducting training on quality related subjects.

A bachelor degree or equivalent experience (minimum 3-5 years) of a technical nature required. Prior QA experience required. CQE preferred. Sound communication skills needed to succeed.

Product Design Engineer (located in Cleveland, OH for Pyramid Parts/American Alloy Corporation a division of P&H Mining Equipment) - The Product Design Engineer will design and review of components, structures, and assemblies used in mobile heavy equipment. Review technical specifications from customers. Approve certifications from suppliers. Reverse engineer products for the purpose of bringing them to market. Disposition non-conforming products and requests for deviation. Approximately 25% domestic and international travel will be required to support field operations and product design initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent work experience. Excellent project management, organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are a must. This position requires proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D modeling software, and knowledge of standards such as ISO, ASTM, AWS, etc. A background in casting design, gear design, and/or materials is considered very beneficial. Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.

Programmer - This position creates manufacturing processes and NC programs for a wide variety of parts for various machine tools. Provides technical manufacturing support to machine operators, Group leaders and Quality Assurance. Defines tooling and fixturing requirements for new or improved processes. Provides concurrent engineering support to engineers in design process; troubleshoot and resolve machining/manufacturing non-conformance issues. Participates in machine procurement/implementation process and in cost saving initiatives involving machining and tooling issues. This position takes a leading role in CAD/CAM systems as they relate to manufacturing.

This position requires a minimum of five years of shop floor machining experience, or technical school equivalent. Journeyman Machinist is a plus. CAD/CAM software experience (CATIA V5 a plus) with a variety of programming languages. Must have the ability to cooperate with all types of personalities. Possess strong computer skills in Windows XP, Microsoft Word and Excel.

Project Engineer - Mechanical - The ideal candidate will design, analyze, manage, implement, test and troubleshoot mechanical components and projects for Electric Mining Shovels. This may include gearing, shafting, mechanical assemblies, mechanical components, sheet metal, castings and small weldments. The candidate will interface with manufacturing, technical service, quality, other departments, and customers to research problems and identify solutions related to the design of components. The candidate will utilize various tools to analyze and validate designs including FEA, CAD Modeling, FMEA, dynamic simulation, strain gauging, TK Solver, UTS, Excel and in house generated calculation programs.

The candidate should possess a minimum of five years experience designing machinery and have a four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering. A MS and/or PE is a plus. Ability to create drawings and layouts in CATIA V5 is required, although SolidWorks experience will be considered. Strong mechanical aptitude, communication and project management skills are required.

Project Manager – Knowledge & Development - Primary responsibilities include driving and facilitating continuous implementation of the Learning Management System, Skills Management System and other global Learning and development global processes, both P&H Mining and Joy Mining Machinery. Maximize utilization of current processes and learning systems. Identify and prioritize global needs, which align with and strongly impact the business. Provide ongoing internal customer service, direction, and guidance. Address resource needs creatively without adding headcount. Determine current benchmarks as well as ongoing metrics illustrating business impact. Support, communicate, and drive LMS/SMS global policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate must have bachelors and minimum 5 years experience in Learning and development efforts. Experience driving corporate initiatives and building relationships that gain buy-in and enhance departmental credibility. Experience in aligning projects, task and goals with departmental and organizational strategy. Solid understanding of adult learning theories and principles, knowledge of best practices, and demonstrated effort to stay current in the field. Project manager experience with proven ability to drive, track tasks, and illustrate results.

Senior Compensation Analyst-Administer the Employee Bonus Plan and Salary Administration programs. Perform Hay & NMTA evaluations for positions at Joy Global Inc., Joy Mining, P&H Mining, and Continental. Act as lead in the global administration of GPS and provide full GPS administration support for Joy Global Inc., Joy Mining, P&H Mining, and Continental. Liaison with HR and IT to ensure HRIS data integrity and an accurate and timely global employee SAP database containing employment information, work history, and compensation data on Joy Global Inc., Joy Mining, P&H Mining, and Continental employees.

This position requires a B.S. degree in Business, Human Resources, IT or other related field along with a minimum of five to seven years of previous qualifying compensation/information systems experience. Solid knowledge and understanding of HR compensation practices and HRIS. Proficient us of Microsoft Office including (Word, Excel, Power Point, & Access), in particular excellent skills in Excel to create complex spreadsheets. Strong written and oral communications. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines. SAP – R3 experience preferred. Certified Compensation Professional designation preferred (CCP). Bilingual language skills (Spanish) preferred.

Senior Industrial Engineer - Studies functional statements, organization charts, and project information to determine functions and responsibilities of workers and work units and to identify areas of duplication. Establishes work measurement programs and analyzes work samples to develop standards for labor utilization. Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data such as production cost, process flow charts, and production schedules, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment. Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing workflow, relocating workstations and equipment, and purchase of equipment. Confers with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations. Develops management systems for cost analysis, financial planning, wage and salary administration, and job evaluation.

Master of Science or equivalent from four-year college or university: or four to ten years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in Industrial engineering for mechanical equipment is essential. Knowledge of fabrication, welding, mechanical assembly and specific experience with large structures is a plus.

Senior Process Control Engineer - Organize and conduct activities with controls applied to processes used in the planning and production of machined components. Establish programs to evaluate precision, accuracy and repeatability of processing equipment and testing, measurement and analytical equipment. Determine that measurement and process equipment have sufficient capability to meet quality requirements. Plan, perform and analyze capability studies and identify improvement opportunities. Develop and implement procedures and methods for quantifying and reporting process capability. Conduct special studies and analyses in support of process development, and acceptance test planning by others. Investigate, and analyze internal nonconforming material in order to identify underlying causes. Develop and maintain effective systems for assuring that corrective and preventive action is taken in a timely manner. Organize and lead teams to address process issues. Develop and conduct training on process related subjects.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (minimum 2 years) of a technical nature. Sound communication skills. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions.

Software Development Engineer - This position deals with software engineering and modeling by establishing requirements for all system elements including hardware, software, timeline and other resources. This person gathers software requirements such as information domain, required functions, behavior, performance, interfacing, usability, feasibility and risks. Work closely with other engineer's and client's gather requirements. This position will also analyze and design software. Will create software development models including the number of tiers needed for the package architecture, the database design, security management and resources needed for the design.

This position requires a Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or Computer Science or five years experience in a programming field.

Supplier Quality Engineer-Plan and directs activities related to the development, application and maintenance of quality standards for materials, processes and products as applicable to purchased materials and services by performing the following duties: Develops, implements and maintains supplier quality system assessment criteria and evaluation methods, including preliminary surveys, formal surveys and on-site evaluations. Develop documented processes for recording, evaluating and reporting quality performance of Suppliers. Approves or rejects the use of Suppliers based upon initial assessments, ongoing quality performance results, source inspection and supplier quality system audits. Develops and communications supplier quality planning requirements to Buyers and Suppliers. Implement standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation of purchased materials and services. Initiates and communicates the need for root cause analysis and corrective and preventative action to Suppliers. Coordinate special studies with Suppliers to aid Product Engineering for product and specification development and acceptance test planning.

Experience in the metalworking industry with working knowledge of castings, forgings, electrical and mechanical components and machining inspection processes. Must have basic knowledge of recognized quality system concepts and the ability to apply accepted quality assurance analytical techniques to problem solving activities. Write and implement component supplier quality plans. Understanding gearing machining and assembly processes. Candidat must work with a high degree of accuracy and have the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while working in a fast paced team environment with effective oral and written communication skills. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred or a minimum 8-years equivalent training & technical experience. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and ASQ Certified Quality Auditor is a plus. Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Technical Manager - LCM-The Technical Manager – LCM will be responsible for all technical assignments for the P&H Life Cycle Management team, interfacing with Service, Peak Services and Reliability Engineering for communication of problems and resolutions and the dissemination of information to MinePro regional LCM / MARC contract groups. This individual will also assist with the compilation, distribution and implementation of a common preventative maintenance program for MinePro regional LCM / MARC contract groups, participate in compilation and optimizing exception reports based on original Operating Cost Workbook component life projections, lead the technical portion of project and / or machine audits, be involved in Operating Cost Workbook compilation for all new LCM / MARC opportunities, provide critical information and feedback to Milwaukee Engineering regarding product performance and integrity, provide professional technical support for documentation and training products, conduct technical discussions with manufacturing, assembly, engineering, service, and product support personnel as necessary to determine or clarify product information, and become an effective RCM facilitator (Aladon certified) capable of conducting maintenance.

The ideal candidate has experience auditing and analyzing data for continuous improvement actions within a project’s administration process and / or a machine’s condition, possesses excellent computer, verbal, and written communication skills, and has the ability to understand specialized engineering terms and to explain engineering principles in common terms. Flexibility with travel, based on needs and overall company objectives, is required. The Technical Manager – LCM is qualified in Electrical and / or Mechanical training with practical experience and understanding in both trades. This individual must have at least 10 years of experience with the maintenance and repair of P&H Electric Mining Shovels and Rotary Blast Hole Drills. He or she must have supervisory experience within a maintenance and planning environment. The ability to communicate at all levels of an organization, both with internal departments and customer representatives is essential.

Tool Design / Manufacturing Engineer - The primary responsibility of tooling, fixturing and gauging requirements for P&H Milwaukee Operations. Trouble shoot tooling, fixture and gauging related issues. Responsible for requisitioning tooling, fixtures and gauges for Fabrication, Machining, Assembly and Tool Room. Supervision of hourly tool room staff required. Responsible for Subcontractor and Vendor contacts regarding Tool Engineering.

This position requires an Associate Degree or related study at a technical school of design, fixture, and tool and die work or equivalent work experience. Three years minimum machining experience. Knowledge of machining practices, metals and their heat treatment implication. Knowledge of gear cutting tools and induction hardening processes a plus. Knowledge of gauging and inspection. Working knowledge of Solid Works, SmarTeam and typical computer literacy. Knowledge of basic industry standards revolving around detail and design.

Welder- Large Weldments, 2nd Shift & 3rd Shift - Multiple positions available. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years of manufacturing experience as a production welder. You must be able to weld in all positions on heavy, unlimited thickness weldments using 1/16" and 3/32" as well as other diameter wires, FCAW process, and be capable of passing a standard qualifying and weld certification test per A.W.S., D1.1 code.

Welding Service Engineer - Provide Weld Engineering support to MinePro for the P&H Electric Shovel Product Line. This is in the form of site visits, issue identification, and resolution plan development.

Support the Product Line by investigating machine problems and acting as a liaison with MinePro. Provide direct feedback to Milwaukee Operations on results of any inspections or new weld design trials, for integration into the standard Product Line.

Directly provide or aid in the generation of support documentation. This includes but is not limited to Weld Procedure, Service Letters, Service Bulletins, Troubleshooting Guides Commissioning procedures, etc.

This position requires a Bachelors degree in Welding Engineering or minimum of a two-year Associate Degree in Welding or Structural design with a minimum of 5 years practical experience is preferred. A sound understanding of heavy plate structural welding, field weld methods, and duty cycles and working environment of mining equipment is desirable. This position does require international travel.
